an ok stay

the location was great. it was super close to a subway station. i easily traveled around the area from there. rooms were also spacious. i liked the open design, it was quite roomy.
the breakfast closed earlier than advertised. the front desk told us a different time. it seemed like we were in the way, way before the closing time. the hot food options were not plentiful. the general supplies seemed limited too.

the staff was very nice and helpful. i found the modern design of the hotel lovely. the location felt safe and i appreciated that.
the laundry facilities seemed inadequate. the washer and dryer combo took a long time. it would have been better with another floor of laundry facilities.

the room was spacious. it was acceptable.
I was shocked by the poor customer service. we arrived in the morning and left our luggage. we returned in the evening to check in. the staff told us breakfast was included. another staff member, yuko, was rude and said we didn't have breakfast included. This was frustrating.

the breakfast had very delicious, authentic japanese options. it offered tasty treats and tea each afternoon (a small detail i really enjoyed) and finger foods plus drinks in the evening.
my room did not have any face towels, only body and hand towels were available.
